Sign and vehicle work across Brooklyn. Including the Nets.

Brooklyn signage covers a huge range of contexts — from boutique storefronts in Williamsburg to industrial fleets in Sunset Park to restaurant signage in Park Slope. We work the full range, including event production work for the Brooklyn Nets and other Barclays Center-area clients.

01  — WHAT WE DO IN BROOKLYN

Brooklyn's diversity, served end-to-end.

Brooklyn is large enough to be its own market — the second-most-populous borough, with neighborhoods ranging from intensely commercial to industrial to residential-adjacent retail. Sign and graphics work spans the full range with NYC DOB filing handled where required.

02  — PERMITS & SIGN CODE

NYC DOB process applies; we handle it.

Brooklyn commercial signage routes through the same NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) process as Manhattan and the other boroughs. Same expediter partnerships, same realistic timelines, same DOB filing requirements.

Brooklyn-specific considerations

  • Brooklyn has multiple landmarked districts — Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Park Slope, parts of Carroll Gardens, DUMBO. Landmarked properties require LPC review.
  • Standard storefront permit timelines: 6-12 weeks
  • Larger sign requiring DOB sign-off: 12-20 weeks
  • Landmarked district: add 8-16 weeks for LPC review
  • Industrial corridor signage generally less restrictive than residential-adjacent commercial zones
03  — SERVICE AREA & ACCESS

Brooklyn install requires the right access plan.

Brooklyn drive time from our Newark facility ranges from 45-90 minutes depending on destination and traffic — longer than Manhattan to most points. We work Brooklyn routinely but install scheduling factors in the access logistics.

Brooklyn neighborhoods we work across

  • Downtown Brooklyn / Brooklyn Heights / DUMBO — corporate office lobby work, restaurant signage
  • Williamsburg / Greenpoint — restaurant, retail, creative-business signage
  • Park Slope / Carroll Gardens / Cobble Hill — pedestrian-scale signage, historic district context
  • Bushwick / Bedford-Stuyvesant — mixed commercial and creative-business work
  • Crown Heights / Prospect Heights — restaurant and retail corridor work
  • Sunset Park / Industry City — industrial signage, light manufacturing, fleet work
  • Red Hook / Gowanus — mixed industrial and creative work
  • Bay Ridge / Sheepshead Bay — commercial corridor work
  • Coney Island / Brighton Beach — tourism-adjacent and entertainment signage

Sports & entertainment context

Our work with the Brooklyn Nets and other Barclays Center-area clients gives us specific experience with sports/entertainment event production in Brooklyn — step-and-repeat backdrops, branded event environments, and the rapid-turnaround event production that sports work requires.
